Dexter Cattle have been bred on Groubear Farm for over 9 years, producing a diverse mix of friendly cattle. Herd welfare is a high priority on the farm as we give each animal the best possible quality of life, resulting in a herd of mischievous Dexters! They are hardy cattle and can winter outside with supplementary fodder.
Beef Shorthorn cattle have been introduced to Groubear farm to further our passion for traditional breeds that produce superb meat. The beef shorthorn is a very docile cattle with an excellent calving record. They also thrive outside in the winter.
We took Lee Onora to the Devon County show, she was a great hit with the crowds, and loved all the attention. She is due to have her first calf in 2010.
