Meat
All livestock on Groubear are grass fed during the summer months and are fed on our own locally made fodder in the winter. Although not organically registered, we treat our animals in accordance with most of the Soil Association requirements, and being a small suckler herd all the animals get individual attention.
Recent research on grass fed cattle indicates that the meat from a grazing animal has a higher omega 3 content which is beneficial to our health.
Traditionally reared beef: £8.00 per kilo.
Dartmoor Greyface Lamb: £5.50 per kilo.
Groubear Pork: £5.00 per Kilo.
Free Range Poultry: price varies.
Aylesbury Duck: price varies.
